Taking a hobby and turning it into a full time business, SportsDisplays.com was founded in August 2000. Although we are a small business, each display is handmade with the highest of craftsmanship and quality that you would not normally see in a business that is just starting out. We strive to satisfy every customer that purchases one of our displays because we know that if our customers aren't satisfied, we aren't satisfied. There are three main reasons why our displays are different than others:
1- Individually handcrafted: Each display is manufactured by hand, one by one giving our displays the look of a true quality piece you can be proud to display your collection with. Each display has a Handcrafted by SportsDisplays.com logo burned into the back of each piece.
2- Hand picked lumber: Each week we go to the lumber yard to individually pick thru hundreds of boards to find the most eye appealing lumber that we can turn into a display. Sometimes the best looking wood is not always the perfect piece. Knots and grain patterns make everyone of our displays a unique piece.
3- Competitive pricing: Although our displays take longer to make than a large manufacturer, our prices are well below them. Look around for yourself and see what we are talking about.
In our first two years in business we have grown from having time on our hands at the beginning, to being 4 weeks deep in orders on a daily basis. We do a good amount of advertising but our best form of advertising is from word of mouth from our customers. We have made quality cases for a handful of MLB Teams, players and avid collectors who know that at SportsDisplays.com they will receive quality displays.
